Searching for a Home in New Braunfels?

There’s nothing better than being in New Braunfels. With the relaxing rivers, the unique boutiques, and fun events held throughout the year, it’s no wonder we’ve become one of the fastest growing cities in the nation (#9, according to the U.S. Census Bureau). Living here is getting to have a staycation all year around!

If you’re looking for a home, we highly recommend the Downtown area (of course), but a real estate agency like Randall Morris & Associates can help you find the perfect one.

They’ve been in business since 1980 and have had the New Braunfels location since 2000 when Randall Morris bought Gallagher Real Estate along with the building, which holds a lot of rich character and history. The beautiful two-story house they work in was originally built in 1854 and is known as the historic Moreau/Langston House.

If you’re looking for a similar older home in downtown New Braunfels, they’re always in demand. Inventory is low in New Braunfels as whole though, so finding the perfect home will likely take some time.

Lisa Williams, the office manager at Randall Morris & Associates, said New Braunfels is still a strong seller’s market. “Inventory is so low that properties often are getting multiple offers, resulting in a bidding war, causing homes to sell for asking price or higher,” she said.

As a buyer, Williams recommends getting a pre-approval before you start looking at homes, that way you’re ready to pull the trigger when you find one you love.

So why is New Braunfels such a popular place to live?

“New Braunfels is quite a gem,” Williams said. “In this quaint little town tucked between San Antonio and Austin, we have the beauty of the Hill Country, the fun outdoor life that our rivers provide, wonderful restaurants, live music venues, and on top of all that, anything else we could possibly want or need is conveniently close by.”

Speaking of all those great restaurants, she told us that the best menu item in Downtown New Braunfels is the Parmesan Crusted Chicken from McAdoo’s. She also mentioned that you can’t miss out on their Bloody Mary bar (and we have to agree!).

If you’re looking for a home and appreciate honesty and integrity, Williams says they are the right real estate company for you. Stop by or give them a call.
